The Hyde Park Youth Symphony is a 501(c)(3) non-profit based in Chicago, IL. We rely on the support of our local community members and foundations to provide our after school music programs for students from around Chicago's many neighborhoods.

The Hyde Park Youth Symphony is dedicated to keeping our programs accessible and affordable to families, which is why we haven't raised our tuition fees since 2018. You can give the gift of music education to a student by giving a $500 contribution to cover an entire year of tuition.

    I was a Hyde Park Youth Symphony member for eight incredible years. Every year brought a wide variety of repertoire that challenged my skills and understanding of music performance. Every week, we practice technical skills and engage in in-depth musical discussions to prepare to perform complex and beautiful pieces. In addition to our development as musicians, our conductors care deeply about each student's success and growth. The Hyde Park Youth Symphony Orchestra has been a second home to me from my first rehearsal as a fifth grader until my final concert as a high school senior.
