The Hyde Park Youth Symphony closed its 68th season on Tuesday evening with performances by the Preparatory Strings, String Orchestra, Youth Symphony, and chamber ensemble. 

We were also thrilled to host the Illinois Council of Orchestras who awarded board member Kathy Huff as "Volunteer of the Year". Kathy has been a board member since 2018 and was very involved in helping the organization find rehearsal spaces during the COVID-19 pandemic. Her efforts in fundraising and community engagement have elevated the organization, and for that we are extremely grateful.

As the 2022-23 Season comes to a close, we're preparing for the 2023-24 season! Live placement auditions will take place on June 10th at the Reva & David Logan Center for the Arts. Students can also submit a video audition here: https://thehpys.org/join-hpys/
